One of the practice routes we drive around West Didsbury Driving Test Centre. It leaves Christie Way onto Barlow Moor Road (A5145) and Princess Road (A5103), works through Mauldeth Road West and the Withington streets around Copson Street, runs down Wilmslow Road (B5093) into Didsbury village, then returns on Palatine Road (B5167) and Barlow Moor Road. It mixes dual-carriageway work, 20 mph village streets, bus lanes and busy shopping-street traffic in one run. This is an approximate map of roads we actually drive, not an official DVSA test route.

- Pull out of Christie Way and turn right onto Barlow Moor Road (A5145).
- Turn left onto Princess Road (A5103) and follow it on.
- Turn right onto Mauldeth Road West.
- Turn right onto Yew Tree Road.
- At the roundabout, turn left onto Copson Street, then continue straight through Withington.
- Turn right onto Wilmslow Road (B5093), keeping left to follow it towards Didsbury village.
- Turn right onto Parkfield Road South.
- Turn left at the end of the road onto Palatine Road (B5167).
- Turn right onto Barlow Moor Road (A5145) and follow it back.
- Bear slightly left onto Derwent Avenue to finish back at the test centre.
