Who we are
FSK Driving Instructors provides manual driving lessons across Middleton, Bury, Rochdale, Chadderton, Heywood, Cheetham Hill and the surrounding Greater Manchester areas. We are based in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
This notice explains how your details are handled under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, whether you contact us through the website form, by WhatsApp, or by phone.
What we collect
- Your name and contact details — mobile number and, if you give it, your email address.
- Your pickup area or postcode, so we can check whether an instructor covers you.
- What you are looking for — lesson length, block booking or intensive course, and your availability.
- Any driving background you choose to share, such as previous lessons or a booked test date.
Why we need it
- To check instructor availability in your area.
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your first lesson.
- To confirm, rearrange or remind you about booked lessons.
- To keep a simple record of lessons taken and payments made.
Who sees your details
- Your details are shared only with the qualified instructor who will be teaching you.
- We never sell, rent or pass your details to third-party marketing companies.
- Messages sent through WhatsApp are carried by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms.
- Where required by law, information may be shared with the DVSA, insurers, the police or a local authority.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into lessons are kept only as long as needed to answer them. Pupil records are kept while you are learning with us and for a reasonable period afterwards for insurance and accounting purposes, then deleted.
Your rights
- You can ask for a copy of the personal details we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- You can ask us to delete your details, where we are not required to keep them.
- You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
